Here all ideas about making Sisyphus and ALTLinux comprehendable for non-Russian developers and users will be collected.
Do ALT/Sisyphus really need new people?
Yes, without broader developers' and users' community ALT/Sisyphus will starve to death due to constantly increasing complexity, diversity and amount of software used. It's naive to hope that there will be enough russian-speaking developers to cope with avalanche of new releases, programs and features to make stable and useful Linux distribution, while English-speaking community is nearly infinite.
http://www.altlinux.com/ and http://www.altlinux.org/ must be brought up-to-date. All Sisyphus-related information should be moved to the http://sisyphus.org/ and http://sisyphus.com/ as it done for http://altlinux.ru/
English should be allowed in comm@, sisyphus@ and devel@.
Maillist archives should have English and Russian interfaces (due to Mailman limitations this will require bilingua-interface, wich English and Russian side-by-side).
IRC seems to be ok, English-speaking people are allowed at #altlinux.
